Gary M. Leeds, CEO and majority owner has over 30 years
of executive experience, including the management of convalescent
and retirement homes, real estate developments and hotel
ventures. He has been very successful in seeking out new
marketing opportunities both domestically and abroad. Mr.
Leeds, who is very active in the physical therapy industry,
founded PeakCare in 1996. He completed his third term as
an elected Trustee of the American Physical Therapy Association's
prestigious Foundation for Physical Therapy. He also serves
on the board of directors for the National Easter Seal Society
of Southern California, which is dedicated to disability
rehabilitation.
Jordan Leeds, President, oversees the business development
strategy and the day-to-day operations for PeakCare. His
responsibilities include supervision of all departments
and integrating them into the overall business strategy.
He also oversees the relationship with WorkCover in Australia including marketing opportunities,
content and technology development, and creating infrastructure
to successfully deploy product into the Australian market.
Jordan has personally overseen the development
and completion of PeakCare's transition to handheld wireless
technology with the iPAQ project. In addition, he was instrumental
in developing PeakCare's partnerships with Easter Seals,
Preferred Therapy Providers Network and Discount Tire Company.
Before joining PeakCare, Jordan worked in the film industry in both
development and production for television, motion pictures
and industrial film. Jordan holds a BA in Film from the University of Michigan.
Keith Brown, Director of International Business,
has been instrumental in planning and enacting PeakCare's
Australian and International business strategy and marketing.
Keith serves as Commissioner on the Australian National
Occupational Health and Safety Commission and served as
CEO of WorkCover Corporation of South Australia until December
of 2002; he has set the standard for Worker's Compensation
in Australia ever since. He has a extensive and varied work
background including Personnel and Industrial Relations,
Strategic Planning Manager, Director of Industrial Relations,
State Manager of Human Resources, Chief Manager Human Resources,
Group Executive for Westpac Banking Corp, and Owner of BGH
Management Solutions, a consulting firm with offices in
Sydney and Hobart. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Harvard Business School, Australian Graduate School of Management
and Philip Institute of Technology.
E Lee Rice, DO, FAAFP, Medical Director, serves as the Medical Director of
PeakCare, Inc. and as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory
Committee, helping to build, test and market the software
and content. Dr. Rice is an internationally known authority
in sports medicine, wellness and preventative medicine.
He also currently serves as a corporate consultant in areas
of Wellness, Preventative Medicine, and Personnel Development
and has recently opened LifeWellness Institute, an executive
wellness and preventative medicine center. Additionally,
he serves as a consultant to the National Football League
and many business corporations in the field of substance
abuse and chemical dependency. Dr. Rice is a clinical professor
at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, the Western University of Health
Sciences, and San Diego State University. Dr. Rice sits on the editorial boards
of several prestigious clinical journals and has authored
numerous books and articles in the areas of wellness and
sports medicine. He lectures on these topics regularly to
medical schools, medical conventions and the business community
in the United States and abroad. He is a cofounder and
immediate past president of the first organization of primary
care sports medicine specialists in the United States, the American Medical Society for
Sports Medicine. Dr. Rice is also founder, past president
and Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports
Medicine, Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Fellow
of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Eric N Bersh, Vice President of Content &
Production, oversees
the development and production of content for PeakCare.
Prior to joining PeakCare, Eric owned and operated Little
River Video Productions, which produced Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's first streaming video focused on
cancer survival. At Little River, he also specialized in
motion picture marketing and nonfiction television as he
worked on the campaigns of 215 films and interviewed more
than 1,500 actors, directors and producers. He began his
career in television news, public affairs and documentary
production at NBC where he won five Emmy awards for documentaries
and a children's series. Eric earned a BS in Communications
and Theater from Temple University, and studied for his Masters degree
in Cinema at San Francisco State University.
