E Lee Rice, DO, FAAFP, Medical Director, serves as the Medical Director of PeakCare, Inc. and as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, helping to build, test and market the software and content. Dr. Rice is an internationally known authority in sports medicine, wellness and preventative medicine. He also currently serves as a corporate consultant in areas of Wellness, Preventative Medicine, and Personnel Development and has recently opened LifeWellness Institute, an executive wellness and preventative medicine center. Additionally, he serves as a consultant to the National Football League and many business corporations in the field of substance abuse and chemical dependency. Dr. Rice is a clinical professor at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, the Western University of Health Sciences, and San Diego State University. Dr. Rice sits on the editorial boards of several prestigious clinical journals and has authored numerous books and articles in the areas of wellness and sports medicine. He lectures on these topics regularly to medical schools, medical conventions and the business community in the United States and abroad. He is a co-founder and immediate past president of the first organization of primary care sports medicine specialists in the United States, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Rice is also founder, past president and Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Sandra L. Aitken has provided wellness and medical expertise to corporations and hospitals for over 23 years. Currently Premier Employee Services Director for Motorola SPS, Sandi has created a benchmark program for work life benefits including child development centers, concierge services, flexible work options, retention strategies and wellness programs for more than 12,000 employees. In the past she has coordinated health and fitness programs for hospitals as well as designed certification and rehabilitation programs for cardiac and pulmonary disease.

L. Dorian Dugmore, M.D., has worked in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness for over 28 years and has written extensively on health, exercise and heart disease. He has worked with several companies in the United Kingdom, including Adidas and Allied Dunbar. He has over 17 years experience working within education, teaching primary, secondary and university levels. He pioneered a cardiac rehabilitation scheme that led to the formulation of Action Heart, a national charity. Dr. Dugmore is one of the first British citizens to be awarded a fellowship to the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation for his outstanding work in cardiovascular medicine.

Brian Halpern, M.D., is a clinical instructor at The Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Assistant Attending Physician Sports Medicine, Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC, and Assistant Attending Physician, NY Hospital. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Halpern has been named one of the top doctors in New Jersey and was recently awarded the First Humanitarian Award by the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Halpern has been selected by various segments of the national media (including Fox, ABC, New York Times, and CBX) as a medical authority and commentator for many public topics. He is published in national journals, books and reviews for physical injuries, disease, rehabilitation and a variety of medical sports related topics, and presents globally on similar topics.

John A. Lombardo, M.D., Medical Director OSU Sports Medicine Center, is an advisor for the National Football League (NFL) for Anabolic/Androgenic Steroids and Related Substances, Chairman of the NFL Anabolic/Androgenic Advisory Committee, and member of the NFL Safety and Injury Panel. He also serves as Sports Medicine and Medical Director for The Ohio State University Athletic Department, and a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Committee. With 28 years of medical experience, Dr. Lombardo has been published and presents internationally on a variety of sports medicine related topics.

Douglas B. McKeag, M.D., M.S., Director of the Indiana University Center for Sports Medicine and IU National Institute of Fitness, is the founder of the American Society for Sports Medicine and liaison to the American College of Sports Medicine. With almost 35 years of medical experience, Dr. McKeage has created curriculum and presentations for numerous universities and corporations as well as presenting and publishing nationally on sports related injuries, rehabilitation, and substance use.

Joseph D. Zibrak, M.D., Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, teaches at all levels at HMS, including general medicine, ICU, and on the pulmonary consult service at BIDMC. Dr. Zibrak has spent the past several years focusing on developing clinical computing systems that enhance patient care, the teaching process, and cost effective medical practices. He is currently the project leader in redesigning and deploying a web-based application which supports the discharge process and creates a multidisciplinary core patient database. He has also developed web-based disease management systems for asthmatics as a consultant to several leading health technology firms, as well as a decision support system for use in Medical Intensive Care Units which was recognized as one of the best original research reports at a recent American Medical Information Association.
