In 1999, The National Safety Council estimated the total annual cost of occupational injuries at a staggering $125 billion. In the U.S. alone it is estimated that health care costs will reduce the earnings of Fortune 500 companies a full one percentage point per year over the next 5 years. According to the American Institute of Stress, 75% - 90% of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress-related complaints or disorders and affect over 50% of American workers. The cost to U.S. industries alone is in excess of $300 billion annually.

With PeakCare at Work, companies receive fresh, current streaming video content associated with repetitive work, mental stress and behavioral health issues through web-enabled prevention programs. In turn, employees can connect to customized exercises, health and lifestyle information, and examples of how to perform everyday activities without injury.

Utilizing a diagnostic questionnaire that gathers relevant employee information regarding gender, age, industry and ethnicity, the system is designed to tailor video content to meet an individual's specific demographic, personal and environmental needs. By addressing these themes, the video content better resembles an employee's unique situation. The system then generates 2 – 5 minute customized video solutions that include a series of activities, messages and exercises, delivered using broadband streaming technology.

While traditional and/or inhouse wellness programs have generated $4 to $7 of savings for every dollar spent, PeakCare’s comprehensive program increases those savings. By utilizing PeakCare, companies will lower the number of claims and days lost to injury, reduce escalating health care costs and injuries, and improve worker productivity. In turn, the company retains key talent while improving their bottom line.
